Some thing that exists is a collaborative sculptural exhibition by Toronto-based artists Jaime Angelopoulos and Derrick Piens. Using everyday materials, such as fabric, paper, and home building supplies, the two have created human-scale sculptures where the viewer slips in as an additional physical element.

Pavitra Wickramasinghe and Amélie Brisson-Darveau are part of a Montreal-based art collective called Perte de Signal. Their collaborative project, 0000, combines both artists’ individual creative focuses into an animation installation incorporating motorized thaumatropes that present a spectacle of dance.

Will the Real Slim Shady Please Stand Up? is a series of small, socially critical, figurative sculptures meant to interrogate identity. The sculptures are made from traditional soft toy-making materials: fabric, polyester stuffing, yard, and thread. In addition, the artist implements the use of photo transfer, acrylics, inks, and hand-made or found miniature accessories, such as tiny die-cast guns, t-shirts, arrows, and lingerie.
