Salmon Run

June to September, 2009.

Gallery Connexion saw this project as a great way to use art and engage artists to celebrate the Atlantic salmon and our ties to the mighty fish.

Local artists were commissioned to use a 24-inch fiberglass salmon form as their canvas to create individual pieces for this special project. The scope for the artists’ creativity is endless and exciting including a variety of materials and techniques such as metal, paint, collage and mixed-media.

The Salmon will be on display at 23 various locations in Downtown Fredericton from June until September.
