Update on Renovations to the Chestnut Complex
Gallery Connexion has had to postpone its opening date to January 2010 due to an extra delay in renovations. We have accomplished much of the carpentry and electrical work. Volunteers have removed most of the old tile on the floor and we have poured concrete in some areas and grinded down the existing concrete in the main gallery. We are currently planning the next steps, which will be crack filling and painting all interior walls. If you have experience crack filling or painting and are willing to volunteer during the month of December 2009 or January 2010 please contact the gallery at connex@nbnet.nb.ca. Our first exhibition will open early February with an installation by José Luis Torres. Please stay tuned for more information.
